Tuya WiFi Door Window Sensor

Miniature yet highly responsive door and window sensor set: main unit measures 66 × 28 × 20 mm; magnet unit is 66 × 10 × 20 mm. Both components are made from impact-resistant ABS plastic and engineered for discreet, unobtrusive placement. Runs on two AAA 1.5V batteries (not provided), drawing under 5 µA during standby to deliver up to 46 months of service life. Communicates over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g/n), achieving up to 50 m wireless reach in open areas and detecting separation beyond 1 cm. Approved for use indoors at temperatures between 10°C and 40°C and humidity levels from 20% to 85%. Managed via Smart Life or Tuya app — free download for iOS and Android — which provides real-time notifications, manual status checks, and adjustable alert preferences. Integrates with Alexa and Google Assistant for spoken status requests and routine triggers, and expands functionality through IFTTT and Smart Life automation logic (e.g., triggering a siren or light when a window opens after dark). Mounting is intuitive and adaptable: use either the pre-cut double-sided adhesive tape or the included screws — suitable for wood, uPVC, metal or plasterboard surfaces. The app supports multi-user access, allowing shared oversight and complete visibility into historical open/close events with time/date stamps.
