Steam Controller 2 Protective Sleeve

Physical specs: 16.3 × 12.0 × 4.5 cm (6.42 × 4.72 × 1.77 in). Material: High-purity silicone with balanced durometer (soft yet supportive). Options: Black, Blue. Single-unit retail packaging in transparent OPP bag. This sleeve replicates the Steam Controller 2’s complex 3D profile with millimetre-level fidelity — matching recessed button caps, curved touchpad bezels, and chamfered edge transitions. It installs in seconds and requires no tools or adhesives, relying solely on silicone’s natural tack and flexibility for secure retention. Its primary role is preventative care: mitigating cosmetic wear from repeated plugging/unplugging, tabletop friction, and pocket carry. The material compresses on impact but recovers instantly — avoiding permanent dents or warping seen in rigid alternatives. Importantly, it does not trap heat or restrict airflow around the controller’s internal circuitry. The exterior texture balances grip security with tactile neutrality — enough friction to prevent slippage, but not so aggressive as to snag clothing or irritate skin. Sweat resistance is built-in, not coated — meaning performance doesn’t degrade after dozens of washes. Cutouts are validated against production-unit measurements to ensure USB-C cable insertion depth, LED clarity, and IR line-of-sight remain fully functional.
