Stainless Steel Multi-Function Emergency Shears

Dimensions: 18 cm unfolded, 9.5 cm folded; weight: 220 g. Manufactured from a single billet of austenitic stainless steel (AISI 304 grade), offering superior resistance to chlorides, bodily fluids, and decontamination agents. Ergonomic handle contours accommodate gloved or wet hands. Six functional elements are permanently integrated: folding shear blades, strap-cutting aperture, ring-cutting channel, linear ruler (0–15 cm / 0–6 in), oxygen tank wrench face, and forward-mounted carbide glass breaker tip. Cutting performance has been verified on polyester/Nylon seatbelts, medical tubing, and adhesive bandages; the strap cutter operates effectively with one hand and minimal wrist movement; the ring cutter accepts common UK ring sizes (L–N); ruler graduations are recessed to resist abrasion; oxygen wrench profile matches BS EN ISO 8535-1 compliant cylinder valves; and the glass breaker delivers focused kinetic energy sufficient to fracture 4–5 mm tempered glass at typical vehicle window thicknesses. Field-proven across UK county fire services, mountain rescue teams, and corporate fleet safety programmes — this tool prioritises intuitive operation, mechanical reliability, and compliance with operational safety standards for frontline personnel.
