Right Angle Chisel for Hinge Mortises, Spring-Loaded Woodworking Corner Chisel for Square Recesses

A Precision Corner Chisel for Clean Hinge Recesses This woodworking corner chisel is designed specifically for cutting hinge recesses and door lock mortises, making it a practical addition to any workshop. The chisel creates crisp, square internal corners in round recesses or corners with a simple tap of a hammer, helping you achieve a professional finish on your joinery projects. Self-Aligning Spring Mechanism The spring-loaded design allows the chisel to self-align when placed in a circular recess or corner. Once positioned, a single strike with a hammer produces perfectly square internal corners, saving time compared to traditional hand-chiselling methods. This mechanism is particularly useful when working on flush hinge recesses and door lock mortises, where accuracy is essential for a neat final result. Accurate 90-Degree Corners The chisel is engineered to form precise 90-degree corners in rebated hinge recesses and lock mortises. This helps keep your woodworking projects accurate and neatly finished, whether you are fitting new hardware or repairing existing joinery. Compact and Portable Design Lightweight and easy to carry, this chisel suits a range of woodworking tasks, including picture frame making, cabinet construction and general carpentry. Its compact size makes it convenient to keep close at hand, whether you are working in a fixed workshop or on site.
