When connected to a computer, the device appears as a USB drive with embedded software. Run the software and connect the reader to your PC. The program will display the reader's model number upon successful connection. The left side is for 13.56MHz cards (IC cards), and the right side is for 125KHz cards (ID cards); select the appropriate side. The package includes 5 white cards for copying 125KHz cards and 5 blue fobs for copying 13.56MHz cards. Place your card on the reader. For 13.56MHz cards, click "Start Decoding"; for 125KHz cards, click "Read". The software will scan and display the card number, which may require a short wait for full decoding. After reading the data, place a blank card or fob from the included set onto the reader and click "Write" to transfer the data. Equipped with a 1.2-meter USB cable, the device responds immediately, requires no driver installation, and quickly reads card numbers.
