PL2303 Chip USB to RS232 DB9 Cable

This USB 2.0 to RS232 DB9 female adapter cable is approximately 1.5 metres long and weighs about 85 grams. Its outer casing is made of durable plastic with reinforced metal connectors at both ends. Internal conductors are tinned copper, protected by triple-layer shielding to ensure reliable data transmission. It operates at up to 1 Mbps and is bus-powered — drawing all necessary power from the USB host. Based on the Prolific PL2303 chipset, it requires driver installation from the included CD. Fully compatible with Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP, 2000; Linux kernel 2.4+; and macOS 10.6+. Suitable for connecting to DB9-equipped devices such as barcode scanners, label printers, modems, cash registers, PLCs, CNC machines, tax printers, and ISDN adapters. Excludes compatibility with cutting plotters and VGA 15-pin hardware.
