The low-active output enable input pin allows you to program LED outputs to 0, 1, or high impedance when the pin is held high, defaulting to high impedance at power-on. Each of the 16 push-pull outputs can sink 25 mA and source 10 mA at 5 V, and can be software-configured as open-drain LED outputs if required, with push-pull as the default setting. The SDA line provides 30 mA drive capability, ensuring reliable communication even with substantial capacitive loading on the bus.
