Wear protective glasses...Inspect and replace any damage to the equipment or worn parts... 1. Add a few drops of UNOCAL RX22 or 3-in-1 oil to the air inlet. 2. Install the quick connect fitting to the tool. 3. Connect the tool to the air compressor using a 3/8". ID hose. Make sure that all fasteners in the magazine must be empty and that the hose is rated for a working pressure in excess of 200 psi (13.8 bar) and has a female quick connector. 4. Adjust tool air pressure to 62 psi (4.1 bar). Check the operation of the safety yoke mechanism according to the instructions in this manual. 5. Follow the loading tool instructions to insert the fastener into the tool. 6. Reconnect the hose to the tool. 7. Test the fastener for proper penetration by driving it into a piece of wood. If the fastener does not achieve the desired penetration, adjust the air pressure to a higher setting until the desired penetration is achieved. The pressure at the tool should not exceed 7 bar (100psi)
