Optical Coaxial 5.1CH Audio Decoder

Dimensions: Approx. 12.5 × 8.5 × 3.5 cm; Weight: Approx. 280 g; Input: Digital optical (Toslink) and coaxial SPDIF; Output: 6-channel RCA (FL/FR/SL/SR/CC/SUB) + 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack; Supported audio formats: AC-3, DTS, LPCM, PCM, RAW, MP3, WAV, WMA, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, APE, OGG, M4A; Sampling rate: Up to 192 kHz / 24-bit; Built-in RTOS and dedicated audio decoder chip; Metal + plastic housing in black; No internal amplifier — external AV amplifier required. The device automatically detects and switches between optical and coaxial input signals. It supports true 5.1-channel decoding for AC-3 and DTS bitstream sources when configured correctly in 'RAW' or 'Bitstream' mode on the source device. A front-panel LED indicator shows active 5.1-channel signal detection. A physical volume knob allows fine-tuning of output level — note that optimal volume requires adjustment at both the source device and the connected amplifier. Ideal for connecting digital audio sources — including Blu-ray players, HDTVs, network streamers, satellite receivers (e.g., DM500S, DM800HD), and game consoles (PS2, PS3, Xbox) — to legacy or modern AV receivers and amplifiers. Designed for home theatre setups where optical/coaxial output must be converted to multi-channel analogue for surround sound playback.
