Mic Amplifier Reverb Module for Sound Projects

This 100 × 50 mm (3.93 × 1.96 inch) microphone amplifier and reverb module is constructed on a durable PCB with attention to thermal management and signal isolation. It accepts AC 6–17 V or DC 12–24 V input, supporting versatile deployment across mobile, fixed, and educational setups. Four 3.5 mm mounting holes spaced 22 mm apart enable secure fastening in custom-built racks or third-party enclosures. All core functionality — dynamic mic amplification and electret mic reverb — is handled natively by the CD2399 chip, with no external processors, memory, or configuration required. Signal processing is analogue-digital hybrid: input conditioning is analog for transparency, while reverb generation leverages efficient on-chip digital algorithms — striking a balance between warmth and control. Output remains line-level compatible with mixers, audio interfaces, and recording devices without level-matching adapters. Common applications include upgrading budget USB mics with hardware reverb, adding vocal polish to karaoke machines, integrating into school STEM kits, and serving as a drop-in audio enhancement block in DIY synthesiser or effects pedal builds — all benefiting from its predictable behaviour and minimal integration overhead.
