Mac A1466 M.2 A/E Wireless Adapter

This adapter enables direct installation of NGFF M.2 Key A/E or A+E wireless modules into Apple logic boards using the A1466 platform (e.g., MacBook Pro 13" Mid 2012–Early 2015). Physical specs: rigid black PCB, ~22mm × 30mm footprint, 1.6mm thickness, compatible with 2230 and 3042-length modules. Designed exclusively for Mac OEM-style 6-pin and 12-pin wireless cards — not for NVMe SSDs or generic Wi-Fi cards. Fully supports five verified Broadcom modules: BCM943224PCIEBT2, BCM94360CS2, BCM94360CD, BCM94331CD and BCM943602CDP. For the last three models, mechanical stability is maintained with just one mounting screw — no compromise to RF performance or thermal contact. Bluetooth operation is enabled via the adapter’s onboard USB signal path, which bridges the module’s USB interface to the logic board. This requires both a Bluetooth-capable module *and* a host board that exposes USB over the wireless connector — confirmed working on all targeted Mac models. No drivers are needed for the adapter itself; only the wireless module requires its appropriate macOS driver (Apple kext or OpenCore patch).
