M42 to RMS Thread Microscope Objective Lens Adapter - Aluminium Alloy

This M42 to RMS adapter ring allows you to connect a microscope objective with an RMS thread to a camera or other device with an M42 thread. It does not support autofocus and functions as a manual lens without an aperture. Use the M-position on your camera for correct exposure. The maximum working distance of the microscope objective is 160mm. When using a specimen cavity with an SLR interface, ensure the total distance is less than 160mm. Manual focusing is required; a macro rail or focusing rack is recommended for precise adjustment. Note that the outer edges of the image circle may appear faint. Objective lenses cannot focus to infinity; focus distances are specific: 4X objective about 1-1.5cm, 10X and 20X objectives only a few millimeters. This adapter must be used together with an SLR camera adapter and cannot be used alone.
