Open the cover of the disc and check if there is any dirt on the bald head. Wipe the bald head with a cotton swab and soapy water, then rinse it with clean water. This is very effective in cleaning the bald head. Do not use alcohol as it can cause significant damage to the bald head if not washed thoroughly.2. If the cleaning way still does not work and the bald head is aging (I mean not reading when it should read), you can disassemble the machine and find a small knob on the side of the bald head. Gently adjust it, just a little bit. This increases the power of the bald head.3.Another possibility is that the bald head is stuck and cannot come out. The solution is to disassemble the machine, rotate a gear (or rod) by hand, shift the optical head outward, then place the disc, restart, and it can be used. I strongly recommend trying this trick, as your bald head may also be stuck.
