Inward Door Compatible Portable Security Lock

Size: 15 × 7 × 2.5 cm. Made with corrosion-resistant metal elements and a tactile red handle for positive engagement feedback. Designed exclusively for inward-swinging hinged doors with a solid door gasket of at least 3 mm thickness. Accommodates two common strike plate cutouts: 0.87 × 0.78 inch and 1.18 × 0.78 inch — measuring your door’s existing hole is essential for correct fit. Not suitable for sliding, double, slatted or outward-opening doors. Supplied with a compact fabric carry bag sized to fit standard jacket or trouser pockets. Functions strictly as an auxiliary security device — never a substitute for your main door lock. The mechanism works by anchoring the metal slider into the latch channel and using the handle’s leverage to jam the latch bolt in place. This prevents forced entry attempts from outside — even if the door is unlocked — because the latch cannot retract past the inserted metal piece. Installation requires no setup time: open door → insert → close → engage handle. Widely adopted across transient living spaces: student halls, serviced flats, holiday rentals, nursing home side rooms and shared house bedrooms. Also applied in family homes to manage access control — for example, keeping young children away from balconies or restricting pet movement between floors without installing permanent gates or locks.
