Handheld Adjustable Leather Edge Tool

Compact, handheld outside leather edge creaser built for accuracy and longevity. Measures 148 mm × 26 mm × 14 mm; weighs 183 g. Core structure: through-hardened tool steel with black oxide anti-corrosion coating. Adjustment mechanism: stainless steel threaded insert with positive-stop detents at 0.4 mm, 0.7 mm, and 1.0 mm settings. Handle: solid beechwood with recessed TPE inlays aligned to natural finger placement zones. Blades feature 12° primary bevel and honed secondary edge for clean leather displacement without tearing. Tested on 22 UK leather types including drum-dyed harness, bark-tanned bridle, and semi-aniline upholstery grades. Delivers consistent creasing from first use through 3+ years of weekly workshop use. Flame-heating approved for brief application (≤10 sec) to aid marking on winter-stiffened leathers or humid-conditioned hides. Designed and assembled in accordance with RoHS and REACH regulations for EU/UK compliance. Ideal for makers producing small-batch leather goods: key fobs, watch straps, journal closures, knife sheaths, and custom pet collars. Avoid use on laminated, foamed, or acrylic-coated substrates.
