제품 상세 정보

Gravity-Actuated Marine Flap Valve

This marine flap valve operates entirely on gravitational and hydrostatic principles — no moving parts beyond the hinged flap itself. Made from robust plastic resistant to UV radiation, saltwater immersion, and thermal stress, it is purpose-built for durability in real-world boating conditions. When water collects inboard, rising pressure lifts the flap open for immediate discharge; as water level falls, the flap lowers and seals the outlet. It replaces aged or warped scupper baffles on standard marine drainage plates. Installation involves removing legacy components, cleaning the mounting area thoroughly, and securing the new flap into the vessel’s existing screw-hole layout. Not intended for pressurised systems or below-waterline through-hull use — strictly for above-deck, gravity-fed drainage applications common on day boats, inflatables, and small cruisers.
