FTDI-Based USB to TTL Module

Compact USB to TTL serial interface featuring original FTDI FT232RL IC. Physical dimensions: ~4.5 × 1.8 × 0.5 cm; weight: ~10 g. Onboard mechanical switch selects between 3.3 V and 5 V logic output. Provides full UART breakout: TX, RX, RTS#, CTS#, VCC, GND, and POW. RXD and TXD status LEDs give live indication of serial traffic. Draws power exclusively from USB port. Compatible with Windows (98 to Server 2012 R2), Windows CE 4.2–6.0, Mac OS 8/9/X+, Linux 2.4+, and Android J2xx. Not compatible with Chrome OS. Commonly applied in MCU development, GPS data acquisition, RS232/422/485 protocol translation, EEPROM programming, router recovery tools (e.g., MProg3.5), and firmware upgrades for hard drives and broadcast transmitters.
