Dual-Screw Gold-Contact Turntable Headshell

Engineered as a direct-fit mechanical and electrical upgrade, this headshell features a rigid ABS housing manufactured via precision injection moulding — ensuring repeatable tolerances and absence of print-layer delamination. Its dual-screw mounting system conforms to ISO-standard 1/2-inch cartridge interfaces, allowing straightforward installation on tonearms including 269, 611, 506-1, 508, 607, 608, 617Q, 627Q, 708Q, 728Q, 741Q, 1254, 1258 and 1268. It accommodates 1.2 mm and 1.3 mm stylus shanks, covering the vast majority of MM cartridges available in European retail channels. Signal transmission benefits from four independent 24K gold-plated flexible contacts, each engineered to retain spring tension over thousands of insertion cycles. Internal wiring uses oxygen-free copper with colour-coded PVC sleeves (red = right signal, white = left signal, black = left ground, blue = right ground) for rapid, error-free termination. Terminals are brass with uniform 24K gold plating applied post-machining, and final assembly is completed manually to verify continuity and alignment. Targeted at UK and EU customers maintaining or upgrading belt-drive and idler-wheel turntables, this part delivers measurable gains in channel separation, dynamic contrast, and low-level detail retrieval — without requiring recalibration or additional tools beyond a small screwdriver.
