DIN Rail Hygrostat 65% Switching Point

This MFR012 electromechanical hygrostat provides simple, field-proven humidity control for industrial enclosure heating systems. It switches at a fixed 65% RH threshold — raising the dew point before moisture forms, thereby preventing condensation-induced failures in control panels, junction boxes, and outdoor instrumentation housings. Its dimensions are 67 × 50 × 38 mm, and it is housed in light grey UL94 V-0 flame-retardant plastic for safe integration into low-voltage and mains-powered equipment. Mounting is achieved via a built-in clip conforming to EN 50022 35 mm DIN rail standards. The unit supports flexible positioning — vertical, horizontal, or angled — without affecting accuracy. Electrical interface uses a robust 3-pole terminal block: accepts rigid wire up to 2.5 mm² or ferruled stranded wire up to 1.5 mm², tightened to 0.5 Nm max. The hygrostat features a change-over contact with high durability (100,000 cycles), rated for 250 VAC / 5 A (resistive) or 20 W DC. Its switch differential is 4% RH (±3% tolerance), and it remains functional in ambient airflows up to 15 m/sec. Operating temperature spans 0°C to +60°C (32°F–140°F); storage range extends from −20°C to +80°C (−4°F–176°F). Protection class is IP20 — intended for dry, indoor cabinet use.
