DC 12V Soil Moisture Sensor Relay Control Module Automatic Watering Switch

Soil Moisture Monitoring Made Simple This DC 12V soil moisture sensor relay control module offers a straightforward way to automate your watering system. Designed to detect soil humidity and trigger a relay accordingly, it helps maintain consistent moisture levels for your plants without constant manual checking. The module is well suited to greenhouse, garden and indoor planting setups where reliable moisture control matters. Intelligent Humidity Detection and Control The module uses a high-quality soil sensor with a nickel-plated surface to detect moisture levels accurately. The expanded sensor area improves conductivity and helps prevent rust from prolonged ground contact, which contributes to a longer working life. Once the sensor is placed in the soil, you can adjust the potentiometer to set your preferred moisture threshold. When humidity falls below the set value, the relay activates to begin watering; once the moisture rises above the threshold, the relay switches off automatically. This wide adjustment range gives you flexibility across different soil types and plant requirements. Built-in Time Delay for Stable Operation A useful time delay function is incorporated into the module, introducing a 3 to 5 second delay when humidity is detected in a critical state. This prevents the relay from flashing or stuttering, ensuring smoother and more reliable switching behaviour during operation. Reliable Switching Performance The module is fitted with a high-quality relay capable of handling loads up to 1500W, making it suitable for a wide range of watering pumps and solenoid valves. This robust switching capacity means the module can cope with the demands of most standard irrigation setups, giving you dependable performance over time.
