Clear Polycarbonate Sheet 6mm Multiwall Panel 12x60 for Greenhouse Light Diffusion and Insulation

Multiwall Clear Polycarbonate Sheet 6 mm 12 inch x 60 inch Model MWCL6MM/1260 MwCL6mm/1260 Product overview A clear, multiwall polycarbonate panel designed for greenhouse covering and general glazing applications. The 6 mm thickness provides a balance of light transmission, thermal insulation, and structural rigidity while remaining lightweight and easy to handle. Key benefits Light transmission and diffusion: Clear panels allow natural light transmission while the multiwall structure reduces direct glare and hotspots, creating a more even light environment for plants and interiors. Thermal performance: The twinwall construction traps air between layers to reduce heat transfer compared to singlesheet glazing, helping maintain more stable temperatures. Durable and impact resistant: Polycarbonate offers strong resistance to impacts and weathering while remaining lighter than glass, making it suitable for exposed installations. Easy to work with and install: Panels can be cut with standard woodworking tools, routed, and fastened to common greenhouse or frame systems. The 12 inch x 60 inch size fits small to medium spans and can be overlapped for longer runs. Clear appearance: Transparent finish preserves visibility and color while still diffusing light thanks to the internal cell structure. Specifications Material: Multiwall polycarbonate Thickness: 6 mm (0.236 inch) Size: 12 inch x 60 inch Color: Clear Model identifiers: MWCL6MM/1260 and MwCL6mm/1260 What makes it stand out Balanced thickness for horticulture and light glazing where both light diffusion and some insulation are needed Lightweight panels that reduce handling difficulty and structural load compared to glass Multiwall construction gives a combination of strength, thermal performance, and optical control suitable for a wide range of applications Practical applications and scenarios Greenhouse cover: or upgrade panels in hobby and small commercial greenhouses to improve light distribution and reduce temperature swings. Patio roof or pergola glazing: Provide clear overhead coverage that limits direct sun glare while preserving outdoor light and views. Cold frame or seedling enclosures: Use the 12 inch x 60 inch panels to build modular frames that retain warmth and diffuse sunlight for sensitive young plants. Installation notes Cut with a finetooth saw or circular saw using appropriate support and slower feed rates to avoid chipping. Install with recommended spacers and fasteners for polycarbonate glazing to allow for thermal expansion. For long runs, overlap panels along flutes and seal per application requirements to prevent water ingress. This multiwall polycarbonate sheet is intended for greenhouse covering and general glazing uses where clear light transmission, improved thermal performance over singlesheet glazing, and impact resistance are desired.
