Calibratable Dual-Sensor Heating Thermostat

Compact unit (9.5 x 9.5 x 3.2 cm, 180 g) with 5–40 °C temperature range and ±0.5 °C accuracy. Features dual sensing: integrated aluminium sensor + 300 cm external sensor cable. Controlled via robust rotary knob; heating activation confirmed by red LED. Manufactured with UL94 V-0 rated ABS housing and precision-calibrated aluminium sensing element. Compatible with electric underfloor heating systems (including foil and cable types), hot water (wet) central heating circuits, and standard gas boilers equipped with 230 V or 24 V switching inputs. Supports both normally open and normally closed relay configurations. Sensor selection mode allows real-time switching between internal and external input — adapting to changing seasonal conditions or room usage patterns (e.g., daytime external sensing in living areas, overnight internal sensing in bedrooms). Suited to UK new-builds with underfloor heating specifications, renovation projects integrating renewable-ready gas boilers, and social housing providers seeking durable, non-smart alternatives compliant with GDPR data minimisation principles. Also fits technical requirements for SAP 10.2 and RdSAP assessments where fixed-location, non-networked controls are preferred for modelling simplicity.
