Adjustable Stainless Float Switch 75mm

A mechanically operated, stainless steel float switch with a 75mm diameter float and adjustable vertical travel range of 45–200 mm. Constructed entirely from corrosion-resistant stainless steel—including housing, stem, and internal reed switch assembly—for extended service life in humid, wet, or mildly aggressive environments. Designed exclusively for vertical mounting: top-mounted for rising-level detection (e.g., tank overflow prevention), bottom-mounted for falling-level detection (e.g., low-level pump start). No external power, wiring complexity, or configuration required. Ideal for direct integration into domestic cold-water storage tanks, commercial sump pits, rainwater harvesting systems, and light industrial process vessels. Compatible with standard 230V AC pump controllers and alarm modules via dry-contact switching. Not suitable for viscous fluids, steam, pressurised systems, or explosive atmospheres. Installation involves rigid vertical alignment using supplied brackets or custom fixings; sealing relies on inherent O-ring integrity—no additional gaskets or sealants needed. Long-term reliability stems from absence of moving parts beyond the float arm and proven reed-switch longevity under typical UK water quality conditions.
