6-80V 1600W BLDC Motor Controller

This BLDC motor controller operates within a wide input voltage range of 6–80V DC and delivers up to 1600W continuous power, with a rated current of 20A and peak current capability of 50A. The board is constructed on a black PCB substrate and features compact, integrated design based on the SNR8503M driver IC. It supports three-phase brushless DC motors without Hall sensors (sensorless operation). Thermal management is flexible: passive cooling suffices for loads under 5A; forced air cooling or heatsinking is required above 5A. Onboard indicators provide real-time status feedback for standby, operation, and error conditions. Control options include analog PWM speed regulation (0.5–5V input, 1–20 kHz frequency, 10–100% duty cycle), UART serial interface for advanced parameter configuration and command control, and hardware CW/CCW direction selection (open = clockwise, GND short = counterclockwise). Additional interfaces include FG tachometer feedback (RPM = FG frequency × 60 ÷ pole pairs) and an onboard ISP header for firmware updates. Built-in protections cover reverse polarity, overcurrent, and stall conditions — critical for reliable operation in demanding applications such as pumps, compressors, fans, automatic doors, electric tools, and underwater thrusters.
