The humidity and temperature sensor board features a digital SHT21 sensor from Sensirion. The SHT21 uses capacitive sensor elements to measure humidity, and a band gap sensor for temperature measurement. Both sensors are integrated with a 14-bit ADC, which outputs digital data via the I2C protocol. It has a 4-pin interface that can connect directly to microcontroller pins. Supports bidirectional communication over I2C. The board is 5V tolerant, allowing the sensor to operate with a 5V supply on I/O pins.
