4CH DMX RDM Decoder with Display

This D4-P decoder provides 4-channel PWM control for constant voltage LED systems, operating within a verified DC12–24V input range. Each output handles up to 8A (32A total), making it suitable for medium-to-high density RGB/RGBW strip deployments. The unit combines XLR3 DMX input and RJ45 port for flexible signal routing, and features an integrated digital display showing DMX address, channel status, and operational mode. Front-panel push buttons allow direct navigation and local adjustment without auxiliary tools. Enclosure uses a combination of impact-resistant plastic and reinforced metal sections for mechanical stability and heat dissipation. Protocol-wise, it fully supports DMX512-A and ANSI E1.20 RDM — allowing dynamic addressing, device polling, and error reporting over the same data line. This eliminates the need to open enclosures or reset hardware to reconfigure addresses — a major time-saver in retrofit or multi-zone projects. All PWM timing adheres to LED driver best practices, minimising electromagnetic interference and ensuring compatibility with common strip types. Typical applications include dynamic cove lighting, interactive exhibition displays, bar and restaurant feature lighting, and synchronised ambient systems in home cinemas — especially where installer confidence, field serviceability, and long-term interoperability matter more than lowest upfront cost.
