- Controls 4-wire PWM fans that follow the Intel 4-pin PWM specification, enabling independent PWM control of fan speed while preserving dedicated power rails for the fan.
- Does not convert supply voltage, so the controller stays compact and efficient while requiring the supply voltage to match the fan voltage to avoid damage.
- Low standby draw reduces extra load on the power rail when no fan is connected.

Compatibility and important usage notes:
- This is a true 4-wire PWM controller and only works with fans that follow the 4-wire PWM fan specification (most 12 V to 48 V 4-wire fans are supported). It cannot control 2-wire or 3-wire fans.
- The controller does not perform voltage conversion. Always power the fan and controller with a supply that matches the fan rated voltage to avoid burning the fan or damaging the controller board.
- For fans that draw more than 3 A, use an external power connection for the fan power rails and connect only the PWM control and tachometer signal lines to this controller. In that arrangement, connect the fan positive and negative directly to the external power supply, connect the fan negative to the controller ground, and connect the fan PWM control and speed sense pins to the corresponding controller pins.
