25pc Multi-Medium Artist Brush Set

This comprehensive 25-piece artist brush set is engineered for cross-medium compatibility and long-term reliability. It contains 6 golden synthetic taklon brushes (sizes 0, 2, 3, 10, 3/4 inch), 5 white synthetic taklon brushes (sizes 0, 3, 4, 3/8 inch, 6), 5 natural bristle brushes (sizes 6, 4, 3, 2, plus one larger size), 7 natural horse hair brushes (sizes 5/0, 6, 2, 4, 1/8 inch, 8, 1/2 inch), and 2 foam sponge brushes. Standard brushes measure approx. 20 cm; sponge brushes are 15.5 cm; included blue pen is 21.5 cm. Packaged in a slim 26 × 18 × 1 cm tray weighing only 101 g. All brushes feature solid wood handles—rigid yet lightweight—for secure grip and fatigue-free handling. Nickel-aluminium ferrules are electroplated and crimped to lock hairs permanently in place, eliminating shedding during layering or wet-on-wet techniques. Taklon offers smooth release and even flow with water-based and oil-based paints; bristle delivers texture-holding stiffness for oils; horse hair provides responsive spring and absorbency ideal for watercolour gradients and soft edges. The set covers essential brush profiles—round for detail, flat for washes and blocking-in, angular for controlled curves, fan for texturing and blending, and tapered for fine lines—making it equally suitable for classroom instruction, home practice, face/body art prep, or studio sketching across multiple surfaces including canvas, paper, skin and nails.
