Heat-activated adhesive liner It This is a waterproof heat shrink tubing with the inner adhesive layer. When heat is applied, the heat shrink tubing will straighten and the inner adhesive layer will melt. A small bead of clear adhesive (approximately 1mm wide) becomes visible at the end of the heated sheath. Once cooled, it forms a rigid seal. Heat activated glue bonds strongly to wires, connectors or any other surface. As the glue flows, it pushes out the air and fills the gaps between the wire and the tube, making the connection watertight. For best results, we recommend using a heat gun.
