1300C Flame Welding Gas Torch

This liquefied gas torch is built with a combination of rubber and copper components for resilience and thermal stability. It achieves a maximum flame temperature of up to 1300 °C, making it suitable for both melting precious metals and performing flame-assisted welding. Designed for manual operation, it runs on standard propane canisters (sold separately) and offers responsive flame adjustment. Its blue-coloured housing improves visibility against varied backgrounds, supporting safer handling in workshops or gardens. Dimensions are approximately 24 cm long and weight around 280 g, with minor tolerances (±1–3 cm) applied to physical measurements. For welding, it requires universal copper-aluminium flux-cored wire — tin-based alternatives are explicitly incompatible. Best results are achieved on clean, thin-to-medium gauge copper, aluminium, iron, and stainless steel. Avoid use on cast iron, cast copper, or other thick, dense castings due to insufficient heat penetration. Proper technique involves pre-heating the joint area to 350–400 °C; if molten wire fails to bond, re-check temperature and surface cleanliness. Beyond welding, the torch serves practical everyday roles: searing food outdoors, baking desserts, thawing residential water pipes, and general DIY maintenance — wherever targeted, open-flame heat is needed without electrical infrastructure.
