제품 상세 정보

1.25" C Mount Astro Video Camera Adapter

This compact telescope adapter is constructed from lightweight yet rigid aluminum alloy, measuring 3.5 × 1.8 × 1.2 inches (9 × 4.5 × 3.1 cm) and weighing only ~19 g. Its external C-mount thread (25.4 mm diameter) interfaces with video cameras featuring standard removable C-mount or CS-mount lenses. Internally, it uses an M28×0.6 mm thread to mate securely with 1.25-inch telescope focusers. The outer diameter is strictly 1.25 inches (31.7 mm), ensuring snug fit and rotational stability inside common astronomical drawtubes. It facilitates prime focus imaging — where the camera sensor sits at the telescope’s native focal plane — delivering maximum resolution and light efficiency. Only cameras with user-removable 1-inch threaded lenses are supported; integrated or bayonet-mounted lenses prevent use. Designed for practicality: its black anodised finish reduces internal reflections, and its minimal mass avoids focuser imbalance — key considerations for equatorial mounts commonly used by UK hobbyists.
