1200W Adjustable Boost Converter

This high-power DC-DC boost converter module accepts an input voltage of 8–60V DC and delivers a continuously adjustable output of 12–80V DC, with a maximum output current of 20A (derated under high input-output voltage differential). Built with a robust metal housing and secured via four 3mm mounting screws, it supports up to 1200W output power (e.g. 60V × 20A). Operating frequency is 150kHz, and conversion efficiency reaches up to 95%, depending on input/output voltage and load conditions. Quiescent current is 15mA at 12–20V input; this increases slightly with higher output voltage settings. It features solderless output terminals for safe, tool-free wiring. Core protections include overcurrent protection (adjustable current limit from 0.5A to 20A; output automatically reduces to ≥5A if limit is exceeded), short-circuit protection (dual-layer: internal circuit + external 20A input fuse), and reverse-polarity protection is not built-in (external diode recommended). Output backflow prevention is integrated — no external blocking diode needed when used for battery charging applications. Designed for stable operation across -40°C to +85°C ambient temperature. For sustained loads above 15A or high voltage differentials (e.g. low input / high output), active heat dissipation (e.g. heatsink or airflow) is strongly advised. Two modules can be connected in parallel to support up to 30A total output (each module individually set to max 15A).
