A dedicated USB 2.0 to IDE/SATA conversion cable designed for direct connection of 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch IDE and SATA hard drives, plus CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, CD-RW and DVD-RW optical drives (burners not supported). Accommodates devices up to 320GB in 2.5-inch, 3.5-inch and 5.25-inch formats. Engineered with fully cured structural integrity for long-term stability and minimal failure risk. Achieves USB 2.0 transfer rates up to 480 Mbps. Native compatibility with Windows 2000, ME, XP, Vista and Mac OS; zero-driver setup on specified Windows versions. Supports hot-swap and plug-and-play. Requires hard drive to be configured in MASTER mode using onboard jumpers before use.
