STMicroelectronics STM32C0316-DK Explorer Kit provides alternative features to the corresponding NUCLEO-C031C6 board, allowing users to access the standard 20-pin layout of the STM32C0 microcontroller. Users can cover the SWD debug pins by disconnecting the debug probe. The 5-way analog rocker switch and LEDs can be replaced by a slide switch. All pins are supported by DIP28 connectors. The connector type is user-selectable. A 32768Hz onboard 1-pin clock generator for the RTC can be disconnected using a slide switch. The STM32C0316-DK Explorer Kit facilitates migration from 8-bit to STM32C0 microcontrollers and between STM32C0 and STM32G0 microcontrollers. The DIP28 pinout is designed for maximum compatibility with the ATmega328 8-bit microcontroller; the LQFP48 is compatible with the STM32G031/071/0B1 microcontrollers; the UFQFPN20 is compatible with the STM32C01 microcontroller; and finally, the WLCSP20 is compatible with the STM32G051 microcontroller. A 5V to 3.3V regulator is bypassed when the supply voltage exceeds 3.3V. A debug probe level shifter modifies the debug signal level to the target microcontroller supply voltage.
