FT-857D FT-897D USB CAT Programming Cable

A purpose-built USB CAT programming cable for Yaesu FT-857, FT-857D, FT-897, and FT-897D transceivers. Constructed with black PVC sheathing, it delivers robust physical protection and consistent electrical performance. The cable terminates in a 6-pin mini-DIN connector on the radio end and a standard USB-A plug on the computer side. Its standard length supports flexible placement in both fixed and mobile operating environments. Designed for seamless integration with Yaesu’s official programming software and widely used open-source tools like CHIRP, this cable allows real-time editing of memory channels, frequency bands, CTCSS/DCS tones, and operational modes. No additional power source or adapter is needed — it draws bus power directly from the host PC or laptop. Minor cosmetic variations may occur across production batches, but all units meet identical functional specifications and undergo continuity testing before dispatch.
