AS5600-Compatible 14-Bit Angle Sensor

This MT6701-based magnetic angle sensor module serves as a functional and pin-compatible upgrade path for AS5600 users seeking higher resolution and enhanced features. It delivers true 14-bit absolute angle data (0–360°) over I²C or SSI, plus ABZ and UVW incremental outputs with user-defined line counts (1–1024) and pole pair counts (1–16). Additional capabilities include 12-bit analog or PWM output, press detection via magnet axial displacement, and on-chip EEPROM supporting >1000 reprogramming cycles. Operating voltage is 3.3–5.0 V; temperature range is −40°C to +125°C; typical linearity error is < ±1°, rising to ≤ ±1.5° across the full temperature span. System response time is as low as 5 µs, supporting up to 55,000 rpm. Includes one encoder board, one magnet, and one pin header (colour may vary).
