This adjustable hinge mortising template is constructed entirely from precision-machined aluminium alloy — offering superior strength-to-weight ratio and full resistance to rust and workshop moisture. It adjusts seamlessly between 2.5-inch and 5-inch hinge lengths, supporting both round-corner hinges (¼ inch and ⅝ inch radius) and square-corner variants. Compatible with doors up to 1¾ inches thick. The integrated depth gauge allows instant, tool-free setting of router bit depth for consistently flush mortises. Supplied as a complete kit: 1 hinge jig, 1 straight router bit, 1 self-centring hinge bit, and 1 hex wrench — everything required to cut professional-grade mortises on timber, MDF, or engineered interior/exterior doors.
