The TRSI TA637A is a professional-grade separable digital lux meter built for accuracy and flexibility in real-world lighting assessment. Its sensor employs a silicon photodiode with optical filter lens, responding to wavelengths from 400 to 700 nm with a 120° acceptance angle. The display unit shows four digits up to 1999 on a 34×31 mm screen. Measurement range extends from 0.1 to 200,000 lux (0.01–20,000 fc), with resolution of 0.1 lux below 200 lux and 1 lux at or above. Accuracy is ±4% + 10 digits when calibrated to standard flat light at 2856K. It samples at 2 Hz, repeats within ±2%, and powers down automatically after 15 minutes.
