Description

- The LM393 module offers reliable performance with a stable operation powered by a 3-5V supply. - When front obstacles are detected, the green indicators on the circuit board illuminate, and the output port continuously signals detection. The detection distance ranges from 2 to 30 cm, with a detection angle of 35 degrees. The detection distance can be easily adjusted using a potentiometer: turning it clockwise increases the distance, while counterclockwise decreases it. - This sensor actively detects infrared (IR) reflections, making the reflective properties and shape of the target critical for detection distance. Dark surfaces reflect less, resulting in shorter detection distances, while lighter surfaces provide greater distances. Smaller objects yield shorter ranges, whereas larger objects can be detected from farther away. - The output connection can be directly linked to a single-chip microcontroller port or can control a 5V relay directly. Connection mode: GND to GND. Use Scenarios: - Ideal for robotics projects where obstacle detection is necessary for navigation. - Suitable for automation systems that require precise distance measurement for object detection. - Effective in security applications to monitor proximity and detect intrusions.
